Dealing direct over the counter 


Camera Clinic is a wholesale repair centre, we deal direct with the general public.


The reception staff will book in your equipment and issue a book-in docket. Please keep this docket as you will need number for inquires and collection.

Sending the equipment in


Make sure the equipment is securely packed in a box. Please don't pack your equipment in a jiffy bag.


Equipment is booked in on the day of arrival or soon after


You will receive an SMS or e-mail advising you the equipment has been received. The job reference number and if applicable details pertaining to the payment of the quote fee. Please keep the job reference number for inquiries.

Couriers and Australia Post deliver to our in-coming goods department located on the ground floor. 



General repair times

Our general repair turn around are approximately 10 to 15 working days providing parts are in stock. These are guide lines only; times may change due to the work load and part availability.

Professional Camera Clinic VIP clients repair turn around are approximately 3 to 5 working days.  These are guide lines only; times may change due to the work load and part availability.     


Spare parts


Camera Clinic stock volume spare parts however there are instances we have to order parts for your repair requirements. Our reception staff will advise if there are parts delays. We also have a recycle program in place utilizing discarded equipment for salvage parts; this keeps the cost of the parts down.   






Quote fee is $49.50 one piece of equipment

Note:  On the 1st February 2022 Camera Clinic's quote fee will be $55.00 (inc) and the combination special will be $27.50 each unit


Combination special:  Camera and lens (only) the quote fee will be split between the two units. Each unit will be $24.75. The quote fee comes off the cost of the repair.


Additional piece of equipment is $49.50.


We do not quote under $150.00 per item. If the repair cost is under $150.00 the repair will be carried out and the quote fee will come off the cost of the repair. Film units are the exception.



Collecting your equipment

Camera Clinic reception staff will send you a SMS message or phone call upon completion of your equipment. Please do not hesitate to call us to check on the progress or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.



Repair warranties

Amateur and Professional repairs carry a 180-day warranty limited to the work carried out.


Manufactures warranties

If your equipment is under manufactures warranty please bring in your warranty card and receipt of purchase.
If the equipment under manufactures warranty is inspected and found to be warranty void  e.g. impact, water or foreign substance, we will contact you with a findings report and images if applicable.
We will ask for your authorization to submit a quote to repair the unit. If you accept the terms and conditions and would like to proceed with the quote an inspection fee is applicable. If you choose not to have the unit quoted it will be returned at no charge - a return freight charge may be applicable.



Payment method

Visa card, Master card, American express, EFT and cash. Account customers may also pay using cheque.
Repairs uncollected after 90 days will be disposed is accordance to the Victorian Consumer Affairs uncollected goods act and holding fees may be applicable


Returning your equipment via a courier

Our dispatch centre will securely pack your equipment and clearly label the box.
We hold no responsibility for customers goods while in transit. We choose to use Startrack and Couriers Please as our common couriers.
Freight is to be paid by the customer or the customer can choose their own courier company to collect their equipment.
Units under manufactures warranty (depending on the manufacture) return freight costs are covered by the manufacturer. Startrack delivers Australia wide, general delivery time's next day or remote areas 2 to 3 working days.
Customer return address must be a PO Box or business address; there must be a person to sign for the parcel.
